Baby Love

There is no way to explain how much you love your child. Everyone says the same thing... once you hold them in your arms you can't imagine life without them. It's almost like we don't remember what life was like before Emmaline arrived. Although we do, trust me! The days when we could just run out the door, sleep through the night, eat dinner without interruption, no diapers or bottles, etc. But we would never go back, it's all worth it. Emmaline is starting to smile and she recognizes our voices. She turns her head when she hears us. She's growing like a weed also. At about 9 pounds she's finally starting to grow out of the newborn clothes.

Talk about baby love, I think Kailyn might love her more that me! It's been so fun to see the interaction with Kailyn and Emmy. Emmy just looks at her and listens to her high-pitched voice. Tonight Kailyn is going to spend the night for the first time since Emmaline was born. She is so excited :) This is only the beginning of lots of fun cousin sleepovers. Hopefully there will be more cousins arriving in the near future ;)

Since Emmaline was born we've had many visitors. January was a busy month for us. Grandma and Grandpa came from Kansas to meet her and spend time with her. They spoiled her! She got pretty used to being held and rocked. Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Heather came from New Mexico and Gramma Pamma and Papa Jay from Washington. My good friend from college and her family came to stay a couple days and help out. We have had countless people bring us dinner and spend time visiting. We feel so blessed to have such great family, friends and Oasis, our church family.
